Ryde Parramatta Golf Club Signs

RYDE-PARRAMATTA, one of Sydney’s leading private golf clubs, began in 1926 as a 9 hole course. Extended to 18 holes in 1932, it has been going strong ever since and is now a 90 acre championship golf course. Both challenging (some intimidating water traps) and picturesque (rolling fairways and manicured greens, native trees and birds), it has also benefitted from a multi-million dollar redevelopment in recent years under one of Australia’s leading course architects, Ross Watson.

The club includes three world class dining rooms and alfresco areas, as well as a golf shop with a wide selection of quality equipment and gear. A resident professional is also there to help anyone interested in improving their handicap or just learning the basics.

The club needed a unified sign system in keeping with the professional quality of their establishment. They wanted something classy and clean. . As well as the entry sign, they ordered a host of others, from directional and regulatory parking signs, to a changeable message board sign, and even a sign specifying the mandatory dress-code on the golf course itself. Together, the signs created a unified impression and quality feel to the club's grounds. All signs include hand carved text and logo that are both gilded with 23kt gold leaf as well as painted with Dulux Weathershield Exterior Acrylics. Made of high density urethane, a closed cell substrate, the signs look exactly like wood, yet will outlast wood by years, since they will not rot, crack, split or warp like wood.
