Evertson Hill Property Sign

“This is the most beautiful place on earth. There are many such places. Every man, every woman, carries in heart and mind the image of the ideal place, the right place, the one true home, known or unknown, actual or visionary.” Edward Abbey

Evertson Hill is an elegant Greek revival country home, part of the historic Evertson estate, and perched on 22 acres atop a hillside in Dutchess County, New York, overlooking thousands of acres of unspoiled farmland Surrounded by hundreds of miles of riding trails in the heart of horse country, it is only two hours’ drive from New York City. Although the house and barn are traditional in looks, they include all the conveniences of a modern home. Large, oversized windows look out onto panoramic views. Wide plank wooden floors, wood-burning fireplaces and handcrafted and stained wood panelling throughout the house give a warm ambiance. Designed by a New York City based designer and residential developer, it is one of several homes that are each unique to their area and are inspired by historic local buildings.

When the owner of Evertson Hill was looking for a sign for his property, he found Danthonia’s sign designer website. Here, he was able to configure and design a house sign that would be the size, colors, text style, and shape that fit his needs. He chose the edging style, texture, size, and uploaded his own custom image for the artwork on his sign. This was then rendered as incise carved and painted, and being made of high density urethane (HDU), many years of life are ensured, since the material is completely waterproof, although it looks and feels just like wood.
