The Clog Barn Holiday Park Sign

“DE UITKOMST ZAL HET LEREN.” Dutch saying meaning roughly ‘The proof of the pudding is in the eating.”

The Clog Barn at Coff’s Harbour, New South Wales, offers ample chances to try out everything from edible Dutch treats to a large selection of souvenirs and crafts (such as hand painted tiles, Delft pottery and a huge range of collectible spoons) – and everything with a Dutch theme.

There are clog making demonstrations three times daily, as well as an amazing miniature Dutch village on location with a working garden railway and windmills – all replicas of real buildings in Holland set among manicured gardens. At Big Oma’s Coffee House, you can order breakfast, lunch or afternoon tea – either full meals or delicious Dutch treats such as homemade cakes, crepes, pancakes and sweets using fresh local produce as well as a wide range of imported traditional and authentic Dutch pastries, licorice and biscuits. Or if you decide to stay a while, accommodation includes the world’s only clog shaped swimming pool! One of the most important features is, of course, Dutch clogs, after which the place is named. Here is a huge range of real wooden clogs in all colors and sizes – including ‘soft clogs’ which make great slippers!

John, Dutch born founder of the Clog Barn, wanted some signs that would really stand out. The award-winning results were these colourful and dimensional hand crafted works of art that leave no doubt to visitors that they have arrived!

  • Our signs are really effective and stand out because of the 3D elements. During the design process, Danthonia kept sending me new revisions until we got exactly the look I was after. The signs give our store a European finish and make a strong statement about who we are.
